About the Editors

Dr. Gagan Kumar Bhargava obtained his Ph.D. degree in Physics discipline from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India and is working as Professor at the Department of Physics, Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab, India. His current research interests are synthesis of nanomaterials for antenna applications, EMI shielding applications, electromagnet applications and cancer treatment. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. His current research interests are in the field of nanoferrites and multiferroic materials. He has published more than 50 research papers in different peer reviewed international journals including 6 book chapters. He has guided 3 Ph.D’s, 1 M. Phil and 12 M. Sc. dissertations.

Dr. Pankaj Sharma received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from JUIT, Waknaghat, India and is serving as Professor in the Applied Science Department, NITTTR Chandigarh. Prior to joining NITTTR in January 2020. He has worked for more than 12 years in the Department of Physics & Materials Science, Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat under various positions. He is an experimentalist by inclination and his research interests include the development of materials in 0-D, 1-D, and 2-D for various optoelectronic, thermoelectric and biomedical applications. Few materials of recent interest include ferrites, chalcogenides, polymers, and dilute magnetic semiconductors. He has published more than 125 research articles in SCI/Scopus index journals, among these 100 research papers in SCI indexed journals.  He has published 5 book chapters and 4 review papers. He has contributed more than 50 articles to various conferences. Dr Sharma has delivered more than 50 expert lectures in conferences/workshops/faculty development programmes etc. He has executed 02 government sponsored projects. He has successfully supervised 5 research scholars to earn their PhD degree. He is senior member of IEEE, founder member & joint secretary of Materials Research Society of India- Himachal Pradesh Chapter. He is also serving as member of editorial board of two international journals.

Dr. Sumit Bhardwaj is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab, India. He has more than 11 years of research and teaching experience. His current research interests are in the field of multiferroic materials and Polymer nanocomposites. He has published more than 16research papers in different peer reviewed international journals and 3 book chapters. He has guided 2 M.Tech. students and 22 under graduate students for their dissertations and projects.

Dr. Indu Sharma is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Career Point University, Himachal Pradesh, India. She has obtained her Ph.D in Physics from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India and has more than 15 years of research experience. She has published more than 20 research papers in different peer reviewed international journals and 5 book chapters. She has guided 1 Ph.D, 3 M. Phil and 30 M. Sc. dissertations.
