download PDFAbstract. The article presents the results of a simulation analysis related to the improvement of the efficiency (performance level) of a closing machine from the current, calculated level to the World-Class OEE level and the impact of this improvement on the results of the production process. The OEE indicator and its components for the analysed machine were calculated in the period of 1 year of its operation. Based on the calculations made, the level of improvement of OEE indicators was adopted in order to reach world-class levels. The analysis has shown what specific benefits in the form of the number of manufactured products and financial profits can be derived by improving the efficiency of using the analysed machine. It was also determined what improvement actions should be taken to get closer to the expected, world level of OEE indicators.
