Abstract. Previous studies have demonstrated that coupling three-dimensional Peridynamics (PD) with one-dimensional high-order refined elements via the Lagrange multipliers method ensures physical consistency at the PD–FE interface [1]. This coupling strategy has also been applied to quasi-static crack propagation analyses of brittle materials [2]. Building upon this framework, the present work extends the approach by incorporating a peridynamic fatigue model, providing an efficient framework for fatigue crack analysis, especially in three dimensional cases [3]. The accuracy of the proposed model has been verified by reproducing the S–N and Paris curves of the 7075–T651 aluminum alloy. It demonstrates a promising method for fatigue crack analysis in aeronautical structures.
