Abstract. This paper presents the results of tests conducted on a plate-type mine detector developed using Pulse Induction (PI) technology. Due to its characteristics, this technology demonstrates high efficiency in detecting objects buried at considerable depths in various environments. Based on experiments conducted using two types of test objects – a solid metallic wheel rim and a surface-type metal can – the proper operation of the detector was confirmed, and the corresponding signal values obtained for both objects were estimated.
