Studying the ergonomics of office furniture with specific art elements and office equipment

Abstract. The quality of office furniture in today’s computerized work environment significantly impacts workers’ health and productivity. This study focuses on the production of ergonomic office furniture that incorporates artistic elements, balancing functionality with aesthetics. The aim is to analyze and evaluate these furnishings, explore their effects, and offer recommendations for enhancing design and functionality. The tasks include a literature review, identifying key characteristics and criteria for ergonomics and aesthetics of art-integrated furniture, analyzing current office furniture and equipment, and investigating the influence of ergonomic designs. Additionally, successful projects and manufacturing practices in Bulgaria and abroad will be examined to optimize the design and production of ergonomic furniture with artistic elements.
