download PDFAbstract. The article shows issues related to the creation and implementation of added value through logistics and processing in a cast iron foundry. The possibilities of improving the casting production systems through the assessment of their labor consumption and the analysis of manufacturing prime costs were discussed. In order to increase the efficiency of iron foundry management, quality control was introduced. The comparative method was used in the studies presented here. Two areas of organization management were compared: the quality management area and the financial management area. The purpose of this comparison is to find common features when supervising tasks in both zones.
