Abstract. Ti-18Zr-14Nb-4Ta alloy was produced by vacuum arc remelting method. Microstructure and substructure of the alloy in different states were examined. Impurities concentration of the alloy was measured in as-cast state and after homogenizing annealing. Homogeneity of the alloy was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) study of the alloy after thermomechanical treatment (TMT) revealed high stability of the parent high-temperature β-phase.
