Strem Chemicals, Inc. established in 1964, is a privatelyheld company that manufactures and markets specialty chemicals of high purity. Its clients include academic, industrial and government research and development laboratories as well as commercial scale businesses in the pharmaceutical, microelectronic and chemical / petrochemical industries. Strem also provides custom synthesis (including high pressure synthesis) and cGMP manufacturing services.
Strem's corporate headquarters is located in Newburyport 38 miles (60km) north of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. This facility covers 48,000 sq. ft (4,460 m2). Its cGMP facility is FDA inspected. The European headquarters and warehouse are located in Bischheim, France.
Strem offers over 4,000 specialty products in the area of metals, inorganics, organometallics and nanomaterials. Its first commercial product was cobalt carbonyl, manufactured in Strem's high pressure autoclaves. The first catalog also contained catalysts/precatalysts and phosphorus ligands, which continue to be important classes of products offered by Strem. Key product lines include metal carbonyls, metal catalysts for organic synthesis, ligands, especially phosphines and N-heterocyclic carbenes, metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) precursors and nanomaterials.
Tornado Spectral Systems designs, manufactures, and sells dispersive optical spectrometers and systems primarily for Raman spectroscopy and spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). Raman spectroscopy is a powerful analytical technique but Raman systems have traditionally been limited by a lack of sensitivity due to the input slit trade-off between resolution and throughput. Tornado’s proprietary high throughput virtual slit (HTVS™) design technique eliminates spectrometer slit losses while maintaining high spectral resolution, resulting in an order of magnitude improvement in sensitivity. Tornado's HyperFlux™ HTVS-enabled spectrometers and spectroscopy systems are the perfect solutions for lab and process Raman as well as many other spectroscopy applications. With higher sensitivity than ever before possible, they provide faster measurement for dynamic reactions and transient features, more accurate chemical identification and quantitation even with challenging mixtures and low concentrations, and low laser power operation in hazardous environments. Tornado's knowledge and expertise in dispersive spectroscopy has also been applied to SD-OCT, for which a spectrometer is a key component of the instrumentation. OCT-Prime is a small, robust, and high-performance solution ideally suited for ophthalmic imaging and other medical and industrial measurement applications. Discover how Tornado’s spectroscopy solutions can improve your quality, efficiency, and economics!
Founded in 2003, Ultratech/CambridgeNanoTech grew directly out one of the foremost atomic layer deposition (ALD) research groups in the world: the Gordon Lab at Harvard University.
With hundreds of systems shipped for research and development, Ultratech/CambridgeNanoTech has become the leading ALD supplier to academic and industrial institutions worldwide. Our Savannah ALD system has been used to produce hundreds of peer-reviewed academic papers.
We followed this success with the introduction of our Phoenix ALD system and will continue to expand our ALD and plasma-enhanced ALD systems to meet the ever-changing requirements of our customers.
Ultratech, Inc. (NASDAQGM:UTEK), founded in 1979, is a leader in both of its major technology markets—advanced packaging and laser processing. The company’s advanced packaging lithography systems deliver compelling yield gains and superior packaging performance at the industry’s lowest overall cost of ownership. Ultratech’s laser processing is an equally impressive technology which increases device yield, improves transistor performance and helps enable the production of the most advanced consumer electronic devices. These state-of-the- art technologies are considered by today’s leading chipmakers to be the gateway to future device generations.
